Fig and Raisin Chutney

Raisins - 1/2 cup
Chopped Figs- 1/4 cup
Sugar- 1/2 cup
Water- 1/4 cup
Grated Carrots- 1/4 cup
Vinegar- 2 tbsp
Salt- 1 tsp
Black Peppercorn- 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon powder- a pinch
Dry Ginger powder- 1 tsp
Red Chili powder- 1/4 tsp

1. Heat a pan, add sugar and water. Once the sugar dissolves, add all the other ingredients except the vinegar.
2. Cook until it thickens. Add vinegar and turn off the heat. Serve hot.
